CA-V2A is designed with MTK communication Chip and MTK positioning Chip. It supports two kinds of protocols. You can switch it via SMS command. It can meet different kinds of customers. Because many customers have platform server and the platform only supports one protocol. And the GPS antenna of this device is bigger than some other mini models. It can receive GPS satellite signal better.

SMS Command:

1. Set over speed alarm function

Message command format: #Password#SOSA#120#

For example: #6666#SOSA#120#

It will alarm when the speed is more than 120km/h.

Replies: Set Over speed alarm,OK!

2. Cancel speed alarm

Message command format: #Password#COSA#

For example: #6666#COSA#

Replies: Close over speed alarm.

It stands for the over speed alarm function is cancelled.

3. Set Vibration alarm

Message command format: #Password#SSA#LEVEL#

For example: #6666#SSA#1#

Replies: Set alarm level, OK!

It means level is 1 grade.

4. Cancel vibration alarm function

Message command format: #Password#CSA#

For example: #6666#CSA#

Replies: Close vibration Alarm, OK!

It means the vibration alarm function is closed.

How to install?

Before you install it, please prepare product and one 2G SIM card. Of course this SIM Card should support GPRS function.

Please contact your supplier and add this device to track platform.

According to the installation diagram of the instruction, please connect it to your vehicle.

Please check the blue LED and Green LED, make sure they work normally.

Finally send IP and APN command. If all is ok. You can check the position from the platform website.

Question 1:  It supports waterproof?

            Sorry, this model not support waterproof, if you need waterproof GPS model, I can introduce our CA-V5W to you.

Question 2:  Dose it support quad band?

             Yes, it supports 850/900/1800/1900MHz, you can use it in any countries.

Question 3:  Do we need to set APN?

             Our device contains most of APN, generally don’t need to set.

Question 4:  We have server, can you install your platform to our server?

             Yes, but there will be fees to install it.
