7.Introduction 

Compared with simpler designs, the roller chain design reduces friction, thereby achieving higher efficiency and less wear. The original power chain variety lacks rollers and bushings, and the inner and outer panels are held by direct contact with the pins of the chain teeth; however, this configuration shows the extremely rapid wear of the sprocket teeth and the plates they pivot on the pins. The problem is partially solved by developing a bushing chain in which the pins cross the outer panel through the bushing or sleeve that connects the inner plate. The wear is distributed over a larger area; however, from the sliding friction of the bushing, the sprocket teeth are still worn faster than required. Add a roller around the bushing bushing of the chain and provide rolling contact with the teeth of the sprocket, resulting in excellent abrasion resistance of the two sprockets and chains. As long as the chain is fully lubricated, the friction force is even very low. Continuous, clean, lubricated roller chains are essential for efficient operation and proper tensioning.
