Low Gloss Acrylic Matting Agent

                                                      Best choice for low gloss of<10% in pure polyester

G570 is a kind of acrylic resin containing epoxy group. It is used for the matting of outdoor weatherable polyester powder coatings, providing about 2-12% low gloss and outstanding weather resistance. Especially in the pure polyester matt powder which gloss is less than 10%, its performance is more outstanding because other matting ways are difficult to achieve such a low gloss. 

G570 has greater improvement in terms of impact resistance, good surface.

2.Application 

Used for the matting of outdoor polyester powder coatings, especially in the pure polyester matt powder which gloss is less than10%. 

3.Use method 

Dosage: 1/3 of pure polyester resin (acid value is about 35).Mixed with other materials then extruded.

If you want to adjust the gloss, may reduce the amount of G570 and supplement corresponding hardener TGIC.

Add 0.5-1% of TGIC or HAA in total formulation can help to improve impact resistance.

Extruding temp 100-110?, fast feeding speed will help to get good matting results.

Baking temp at 200?*15min.

For gloss adjusting, add some certain dosage of TGIC or HAA in total formulation, and reduce same amount of G570, gloss will increase.

4.Storage: 

Store in cool and dry place. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Seal the package after operation. 

5.Packaging 

Kraft paper bag (polyethylene liner). Net weight: 25kg/bag 

6.Remarks 

Acrylic Acid Matting Resin has certain selectivity to polyester, so must select proper polyester to match it. In order to get stable matting effect, please maintain consistency and stability in the production process.
