Applications:

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES) is mainly used in Shampoo, shower gel, dishwashing detergent, complex soap, liquid detergent, textile, printing and dyeing, oil and leather industries as effective emulsifier, cleaner, foaming agent and degreasing agent. 

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES) can also be used to make hard face detergents such as glass detergents or car detergents. It is always be used together with SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), LAS-Na (Sodium Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonate), 6501 (Coconut Diethanol Amide) etc.

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES) is always used in washing powder and detergent for heavy dirty. Using SLES to replace LAS, phosphate can be reduced or saved, and general dosage of active matter is reduced. In textile, printing and dyeing, oil and leather industries, it is the lubricant, dyeing agent, cleaner, foaming agent and degreasing agent.

Compare of SLES (2EO) and SLES (3EO):

The difference of number of epoxyethane (EO) molecular in SLES lead to different function and application. 

SLES (3EO) can create copious foam but a little more irritative, more suitable for producing dishwashing detergent.

SLES (2EO) has more delicate and fine foam, more suitable for producing shampoo and body wash products.

SLES (3EO) has better solubility, SLES (2EO) has better thickening performance.

Shelf life of SLES: 1 year (store in a dry warehouse with adequate ventilation, temperature 8?-35?). If the temperature is above 50?, or pH value lower than 5, SLES will decompose.

Packing and Storage: Packed in drums or flexi-tank. 

It is recommended that SLES be stored in closed containers and kept in cool, dry place. If the SLES is frozen, it should be heated gently and stirred to ensure it is homogeneous before using.
