Single jib portal crane generally includes the following units: crane steel Structure, Lift mechanism, Luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism, crane travel mechanism, spreader device (grab, container spreader, magnet and hook as your actual demand on crane), electrical equipment and other accessory equipment for safety. Steel structure include jib and A-frame, slew platform and gantry frame. Single jib portal crane generally used in wharf, bulk and container port for the loading, unloading of goods and containers from ship to quay or in turn, also used in shipyard and floating dock for building, repair of various ship.

The Traveling mechanism of Portal Crane are composed by Drive Wheel Trolley, Driven Wheel Trolley, Carriage, Balance Beam etc. All the portal crane should equipped with crane anchor, Hydraulic Rail Clamps and Windproof Rope. 

The Lifting mechanism are composed by two sets winches, the two winches could work together or separately. The Luffing mechanism are composed by motor, gearbox, brake, rack guide device, etc. The power supply of portal crane is cord reel.
