Pure molybdenum wire used in high temperature electric furnace and electric spark machining is also the wire cutting process;

Molybdenum sheet used in the manufacture of radio equipment and X-ray equipment; high temperature ablation resistance of molybdenum, mainly for manufacture of gun bore, a rocket nozzle, electric light bulb with a tungsten filament scaffold.

The addition of molybdenum in the alloy steel can improve the elastic limit, the corrosion resistance and the permanent magnetism.
