High shear dispersion emulsification is a process of high efficiency, fast and uniform (usually) of a phase or a plurality of phases (liquid, solid, gas) into a continuous phase (usually liquid). In general, the phase is not mutually soluble. When the external energy input, the two kinds of material reorganization becomes uniform. Due to the high tangential velocity and high frequency mechanical effect caused by the high speed rotation of the rotor, the material is strongly affected by mechanical and hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, liquid friction, impact tearing and turbulence. So that the immiscible solid phase, liquid phase and gas phase in the corresponding mature technology and the amount of additives, instant uniform and fine dispersion and emulsion, after high frequency cycle, and ultimately get a stable high-quality products.
