Comparing with the other filter press types, the difference of mechanical filter press is the closing type. As the name, the mechanical filter press is closed by mechanical forces (screws, gears, driving motor). This filter press machine has following advantages: simple structure, safe operation, lower power consumption and easy maintenance.

While filter press operation, the motor drives the reducer to move screw forward and backward, thus to finish close and open filter press plates. And on our screw, there was a special lock nut, which can easily and stably realize pressure keeping. Additionally, our mechanical filter press adopts the motor comprehensive protector to realize automatic control and realize over-heating and overload protection. Regarding the filter plate pack, we will recommend according to your actual material and technical needs. Additionally the filtering area of mechanical filter press normally is 15-120 s.q.m., and it adopts manual cake discharging.

Although it has advantages, however, for foreign markets, we normally don’t recommend the mechanical filter press. Because comparing with hydraulic filter press, their cost basically same, but hydraulic filter press has better filtering sealing performance.
