Q: Are these cups sturdy enough to stand alone bake?

A: Yes, they could be put on a cookie sheet to bake.

Q: Is the cooking time for cupcakes/muffins the same as using paper liners? Or do silicone baking cups need to bake longer?

A: Use paper liners if you want to hold the cupcake, muffin, etc. in your hands. You do not need paper liners if serving on a plate. Whatever you bake in these remove so easily that you don't have half left in the pan! As far as baking longer, no, I do not bake in them any longer than the recipe calls for.

Q: Can they be used to make poached eggs

A: They work great for poached eggs. I use them in my instant pot as well as bake with them.

Q: Does the color bleed into your food?

A: Absolutely not! This is food grade silicone and the color is in the silicone and will NEVER bleed into the food. It is able to withstand temperatures to 450 degrees F. I love mine and use it for baking, freezing and molding jello. It is an awesome product!
