The crankshaft was the principal rotating parts of the engine, mounted on post with link, can take a connecting rod (reciprocating) movement into cycles (rotation) movement. Includes main and crankpin, main bearings are mounted on the cylinder rod neck connected to the connecting rod big end bore, connected with the cylinder piston connecting rod small end holes and is a typical example of crank-slider mechanism. Crank shaft heat treatment is the key technology of surface strengthening treatment.
