Cartridge check valve is designed in poppet or ball style element against the valve seat as opposed to the poppet, the mail function of cartridge check valve is to prevent the flow at reverse direction while the valve allows free flow in one direction. The cartridge check valve is mostly used to isolate a section of a hydraulic circuit or to allow a one free flow path and certainly blocked the reverse fluid flow, mostly for the purpose of protection for overpressure in hydraulic system.
