2,7-Dibromo-9H-fluoren-9-one

?Synthesis and characterization of 2,7- dibromo fluorenone:

Experiment with fluorenone as raw material, acetic acid and fuming sulfuric acid as reaction medium, iron / iodine as catalyst, direct bromination of 2,7- dibromo fluorenone preparation. The effects of different reaction medium, catalyst, reaction temperature and reaction time on the yield of the product were discussed. The experimental results show that the optimum preparation conditions were as follows: when the reaction temperature is 120 DEG C, the reaction time is 6h, the dosage of catalyst is 6%, 2,7- dibromo fluorenone yield reached 92%. The structure of the target compounds was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (~1H NMR).
