The small bags of bags say Made in China. They feel like about 2mil, not super thin like a sandwich bag and not as thick as the sheet plastic in the roll (3mil).

These bags measure 0.03-0.015mm in thickness. Most important though, these bags seal up perfectly every time and can handle a lot of stuff.
