[Description]

This product is a colorless or light yellow clear oily liquid.

[Function and Use]

This product contains vitamin A and D. the vitamin A can function as furthering the growth of animal, maintaining the normal function of epithelial tissue such as skin, conjunctiva, cornea and so on, and it takes part in the synthesis of visual purple and enhances the sensitization of retina. In addition, it takes part in lots of gasification in body, especially for the gasification of unsaturated fattyacid. The vitamin D has an important effect on the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and pup’s bone growth, it mainly functions as promoting the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus in small intestine. The metabolic active material of vitamin D can adjust the reabsorption of calcium by kidney tubules, maintain the level of calcium in the circulating blood, and further the normal growth of bone.

It is mainly used for vitamin A and D deficiency, such as night blindness, keratomalacia, dermatitis, rickets , osteomalacia and so on.

[Usage and Dosage]

Intramuscular injection: one single dose, 5~10ml for horse and cattle; 2-4ml for colt, calf, sheep and swine; 0.5-1ml for lamb and piglet.

[Adverse Reaction]

1.Overdose of vitamin A can cause toxication. The animal acute toxicity is manifested as excitement, blurring of vision, encephaledema, vomit; the chronic toxicity is manifested as anorexia, skin lesion and viscera damage and so on.

2.Excessive vitamin D can directly affect the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus, reduce the calcification of bone, cause the ectopic calcification in soft tissues and arrhythmia and nerve dysfunction and other symptoms.

3.Excessive vitamin D can also indirectly disturb the metabolism of other lipid-soluble vitamins(such as vitamin A, E and K)

[Caution]

Only for intramuscular injection, it is not allowed to be overdosed. 

[Specifications]

250 000 units for Vitamin A and 250 00 units for vitamin D.

[Storage] 

Stored in an airtight condition in a place free from light (below 30?).
