Line dies / tandem dies / single operation dies are used for large parts and complex shaped parts in low volume production. These operations may have been performed using individual presses and the workpieces may have been moved from press to press, and die to die, by hand.. GLS  has the expertise and technology to design, test and manufacture high-quality line dies for the automotive, appliance, office furniture, and electronic industries.  We can provide tandem tools that meet a broad range of manufacturing challenges.

?    GLS line dies are used for:

·         Parts that require hand or robotic loading on a single large press or among several presses

·         Tandem-line manufacturing of large parts complex shaped parts

·         Parts manufactured in low volume

GLS Tool & Die can build dies up to 60” wide and 150” long (1500*3800mm), with an in-house tryout capability of 800T. We ensure all the tooling will be engineered to meet all stamping press specifications and die standard.
