The various rolls are made by roller barrel , which is made from centrifugal casting tubes, the cones casting which is made normally by investment casting method,  the shafts or journals which are typically made from forged steel with AISI304 or 310 stainless steel or carbon steel like CK45, rings or discs ,ceramic fibers, etc., by welding, machining, static or dynamic balancing, PT test 100%, RT test for the welds of some rolls.

The rolls are typically used in the vertical furnace or horizontal furnaces of the continuous annealing line or galvanizing line , working at high temperature around 900 degrees environment, to transport the steel plate or strips for heat treatment of steels. The diameter ranges from around OD.100MM to OD.1600MM.

To improve the hardness of the rolls surface, special coating can be applied, also to reduce the surface scratch possibility, so that the quality of the steel strip could be guaranteed, we can do normal coating like LC1 C,WC,LCO56,LCO117 and more.
