Quartz Sand filter

BTSY filter is also called pressure filter, for that the filter-needed water is boosted to 0.6MPa by pump to filter through the strainer. It can be divided into single flow type and double flow type. The single flow one is that the water flows from upper to lower and the double flow one is that the water entered from the top and the low, and came out from the middle of the cartriage. By filling material situation, it can be divided into single layer, double and multi-layers mechanical filter.

This equipment applies for pre-treatment in ion exchanging water soften system and desalting system, pre-filtration of the reverse osmosis device, wasted water filtration, industrial supply rough filtration and swimming pool water filter system, etc. Filtrated material size is depend on water quality. For pre-treatment in desalting system, quartz sand is 0.5-1.0mm; anthracite is 1.2-1.6mm.

Principle:
The different sized filter material in the cartriage compactly arranged in the order of that the small one is up, the big size is down. When water flows from upper to lower, suspended matters in water are held back by the upper filter materials. These matters overlap and bridge mutually and form into a thin film to continue filtrating. This phenomenon is called membrane filtering effect. It not only occurs on the surface layer, but aslo the water flows into the middle filter layer will be held back called as osmosis filtration.
Moreover, for ranged in rows tightly, the suspended matters in water contact materials for a longer time, so the suspend matters is adhered with flocculation on the surface of filter material to arised contact the coagulation effect.
Through the process of membrane filter, osmosis filter, and contact the coagulation effect to purify the water.

Worker can enter into the equipment to repair; filter cap can be replaced inside the cartridge without disassembling pipeline.
