Seplite LXC 505 is a strong acid cation exchange polymeric catalyst mainly designed for use as a solid acid catalyst in the esterification and transesterification processes.

Compared to conventional strong acid resin catalysts, Seplite LXC 505 has the excellent selectivity for the esters in high temperature with its functionalized surface, This polymeric catalyst is equivalent to Amberlyst 46.
