Licochalcone A is a chalconoid, a type of natural phenols. It can be isolated from root of Glycyrrhiza glabra[1] (liquorice) or Glycyrrhiza inflata. It shows antimalarial, anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral (specifically against influenza neuraminidase) properties in vitro.

Cosmetics industry:

Inhibit tyrosinase, and can restrain dopa pigment interconvert enzyme and DHICA oxidase activity of licorice flavonoids in addition to the obvious ulcer, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, fall hematic fat, as well as obvious scavenging free radicals and antioxidant effect, is a rapid and efficient spot whitening cosmetics additive.

Usage:

This product is soluble in Chloroform, Dichloromethane, Ethyl Acetate, DMSO, Acetone, etc., and then added to the cosmetic formula according to the procedure.

Dosage:

The recommended dosage is 0.1‰-1‰, which can be added or decreased according to the requirements of the product.

Packaging storage:

1000g/ aluminum foil bag, 10kg/ pail. Keep dry and sealed.

Storage:Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 24 months(2-8C).
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.
