1. what is 18650 battery?
--- 18650 lithium ion battery is firstly developed by Japan SONY company. 18650 is a standard battery size. it was invented with an attempt to save cost. 18, means diameter is 18mm. 65, means battery length 65mm.0, means it's cylinderic battery type.

2. what is 3.6v 3.7v 4.2v battery voltage?
--- 3.6v 3.7v 4.2v on battery label means same battery, but different label way. 3.6v 3.7v means ex-factory battery voltage, while 4.2v means the voltage when battery is fully charged.

3. what's the different of lithium ion battery charing?
--- lithium ion battery charging control can be divided into two period of time. At the first level, it's constant current charging way. When battery voltage less than 4.2v, charger will charge the battery in constant current model.At the second stage, it's constant voltage charging way. That is, when battery voltage reaches 4.2v, charger will smartly shift to charge at max 4.2v. This is because of the typical characteristic of lithium battery. Voltage higher than 4.2v, lithium battery will get broken. And then charging current will becomes trickle. When the trickle current reaches a certain value (generally is 1/10 of charging current), charger will shut up charging, and then charging indicator will turn green, which means charging is finished.

4. how much max xxmAh of lithium ion battery?
--- 18650 lithium ion battery currently max capacity can only make 3500mAh, which actually capacity is only 3350mAh-3450mAh.This is currently world's lead tech. On market, there are some high density 18650 batteries, which capacity like 3500mAh, 3400mAh, 3200mAh,3000mAh etc. While you can also find some capacity like 4000mAh, 8000mAh, 9800mAh, this is fake or cheat.

5. why some 18650 length is longer while some is shorter?
--- 18650 has flat top and high top, which lenth is different with each other. Flat top 18650 battery length is about 65mm, while high top 18650 battery length is about 67mm. when you buy it, you should choose according to your system. What's more, another situation is that battery plus with BMS for protection, which length is about 69.5mm.
