brief

28 alloy (UNS N08028, W.Nr.1.4563) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy added with molybdenum and copper. It has excellent resistance to reduction and oxidation of acid, stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy is resistant to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. For chemical processing, pollution control equipment, oil and gas pipelines, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production and pickling equipment.
