1.General

Basket filter is a filter solid impurities in the liquid medium,to protect the pipeline in various instruments are not damaged. Filter material is generally based on the filtered liquid nature and working conditions.

For corrosive media, generally 304,316 or other stainless steel are being used; for the general media, the choice of ASTM X60, X70 other high-quality carbon steel or low alloy steel; for low temperature environment, should be used in low-temperature pressure vessel steel. The filter net is made of stainless steel.

Filter working principle: the liquid into the barrel from the inlet, through the filter net, filter out impurities in the liquid, and the impurity is discharged through the drainage. For the small amount of gas in the liquid, it is discharged through the upper vent valve.


2.Component

Basket filter from barrel, basket, cap, vertical QOC, inlet,outlet,vent,drainage, saddle supports, flange, bolts, nuts,gaskets and other components. If basket is large and difficult remove.It can be equipped with facilitate hoisting ,easy filter removal, cleaning.

(1)Effective filtration area is no less than three times of flow area of inlet ,outlet.

(2)Filter structure: vertical, Quick Opening Closure with air elimination, inlet and outlet nozzle are same hight,filter’s cap equipped with vent valve.

(3)Quick opening closure:its key component of filter,the basket filter is equipped with patent QOC(patent No. ZL03 2 13594.7)

(4)Pressure part designs, we strictly according to ASME standard, all elements of the pressure level and the pressure filter and tubing pressure rating consistent with or slightly above the predetermined pressure level .

(5)The filter barrel has the clearly sign of liquid flow direction. 


3.Filter’s QOC

QOC for basket filter is vertical type, It has the following characteristics:

(1) Vent provides on the cover of QOC, to ensure filter safety.

(2) Hoisting apparatus can be equipped on the column, when the filter barrel diameter is greater than DN400, due to basket is too large, hoisting apparatus can greatly speed up basket cleaning, replacement maintenance time.

(3) Column axis can be 360º, after opening QOC, basket can be taken out without QOC’s blocking
