Mobile Phone Signal Repeater Installation Steps

Step 1: Install the outdoor antenna in a suitable place

Step 2: Connect the outdoor antenna to the booster “outdoor” side by cable and connector

Step 3: Connect the indoor antenna to the booster “indoor” side by cable and connector

Step 4: Connect to the power

FAQ

Q	The solution for without effect after installed
A.	1.First make sure outdoor antenna’s side has above -65dbm mobile signal. 2.Make sure repeater,antenna are right model. 3.Make sure indoor and outdoor antenna,splitter are connected well.
Q	After installed,the signal situation is improved ,but can’t make a call.
A	1.Make sure outdoor antenna towards BTS. 2.Make sure the distance between outdoor antenna and BTS within 5KM. 3.Make sure the distance between outdoor antenna and repeater is in the range of 10mto 20m. 4.If it still hasn’t been solved,change a higher power repeater or ask a professional person to check.
Q	The communication quality is bad
A.	1.Adjust the direction of outdoor antenna. 2.Change the signal direction from outdoor antenna to repeater(by nearest straight line,less corner,do not rotate 90degree) 3.Make sure the cable from outdoor antenna to repeater is using 50ohms coaxial cable. 4.Make sure the distance from indoor to outdoor antenna above 20m, it's better to have a wall or passageway between them,avoid the signal from indoor antenna received by outdoor antenna amplified (it will make repeater self-oscillation)
Q	After installed,the signal situation is improved,but with small coverage area.
A.	1.Make sure the signal from outdoor antenna is strong. 2.Make sure the cable from indoor antenna to repeater is less than 10m,connectors are connected well,cable material up to standard,no much splitters. 3.Choose more powerful signal repeater.
Q	The solution for the interference to BTS
A.	1.The reason is the repeater’s uplink power is too big,or it is too close to BTS. 2.The solution is change the outdoor antenna installation place,deviate from BTS,or choose less powerful repeater.
Q	Mobile signal is not steady
A.	1.The reason is the self-osillation of repeater. 2.The solution is make sure the connectors are right for input and output,the shield is well. 3.Make sure the distance between indoor and outdoor antenna is above 10m,it is best there is a wall between them.
Q	There is a full bar on phone,but can’t make a call
A.	1.This reason is the uplink power is not enough,or the signal from outdoor antenna is too weak. 2.First make sure outdoor antenna’s side have mobile signal,and reach above -65dbm. 3.Make sure the distance between indoor and outdoor antenna is above 10m,it is best there is a wall to separate them. 4.Install the outdoor antenna on a higher place,while direct to BTS.
