Grade 304 is the most versatile and widely used stainless steel. It is also known as 18/8 stainless due to its chemical composition which includes approximately 18% chromium and 8% nickel.Grade 304 also has outstanding welding characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin sections.
