Maintenance schedule for mechanical vacuum pump:

The maintenance interval of mechanical vacuum pump should be determined according to the environment of vacuum pump. If we remove impurities such as water, impurities and dust, we must constantly repair the vacuum pump, otherwise, we can extend the maintenance schedule.

1, daily maintenance items, check the oil quality and oil level in the pump

2, every week needs maintenance to check whether the vacuum pump is leaking, the intake filter uses a wind gun to clean the dust and sundries remaining on the assembly and inlet filter.

3, monthly maintenance items need to be checked. Function of exhaust filter (oil mist separator) is checked. If there is smoke or fuel injection, if there is a problem, vacuum pump exhaust filter should be replaced.

4, every 6 months, we need to maintain items, check whether there are dust, dirt, carbon and impurities in the vacuum pump chamber. If necessary, we can clean up the vacuum pump, including fuel tank, pump body, fan, fan wheel, ventilation grid, cooling fin.

5, every work 500~2000 hours need to be maintained: replace the vacuum pump exhaust filter, vacuum pump oil, vacuum pump oil filter, check the float valve and oil return pipe in the pump.

When the above operation is done, please make sure that the vacuum pump is carried out in the case of shutdown.


Inspection method of vacuum pump oil:

To check the condition of vacuum pump oil, we can see the situation of pump oil through the oil mirror. If the pump oil is lower than the "MIN" mark of the oil mirror, we should check whether it is caused by technological requirement.

The coloring of vacuum pump oil must be bright and clear, no foam or turbid. After oil settling, there are obvious milky white substances and black carbon crystals. Then the vacuum pump oil must be replaced, and the same type of vacuum pump special oil should be added.
