FBT Coupler

The FBT splitter(Fused Biconical Taper splitter) is a passive device that divides an input optical signal into unequal portions, and then send out the divided signal to separate users. FBT technology has become mature after developing for about 20 years. The FBT splitter has been widely used in FTTx systems, MANs, WANs, CATV and active devices.

Our FBT single mode splitter has wide bandwidth, suitable for incoming signals with wavelengths ranging from 1260nm to 1650nm. This range of fiber optic splitter has a small physical size, available in different packages.

Advantages:

1.This type of FBT splitter is built to the Telcordia GR-1209-CORE and Telcordia GR-1221-CORE standards. It is interchangeable with many other optical fiber splitters made to the same standards.
