Zincate Process On Aluminum

  • Description
Product Detail

Introduction

Zincate process refers to the alkaline solutions used in a dipping (immersion) process to plate aluminium with zinc prior to electrolytic or electroless nickel plating. This immersion process provides a thin zinc immersion deposit on the surface of the aluminum. I.M.T.’s zincate process can produce a fine deposit on aluminum surface so that the latter plating deposits can have better cohesion. A double zincate application is most commonly utilized when plating aluminum to provide a very thin, dense and uniform zinc deposit.

Item: HN-220

Advantages

1. The zincate process is easy to operate and suitable for both rack and barrel plating.

2. It is totally free of Cyanide chemicals, which is safe for operation and beneficial for environment protection.

3. It can leave an even and fine layer of zinc on the aluminum surface, which can enhance the cohesion of the latter plating processes like copper, nickel, tin and electroless nickel.
