Introduction

The Automatic Launching Expandable Bathythermograph (TH-B311A) is an automatic underwater profile data acquisition equipment widely used for oceanographic research ships,yachts,cargo ships,fishing ships and other types of vessels.The equipment can automatically launch probes,collect data and transmit them via its own satellite communication unit.It is an ideal tool to cut data collection expenses and reduce crew working risk. 

Composition and Features

The entire system consists of four parts:(1) PC,(2)data acquisition unit,(3)launcher,(4)foothold.

The system features as follow:

lFour automatic launching modes:time,distance,position and manual control.

lTwo sets of launcher.

lAuto completion of probe launching,data collection, storage and transmission.

lMechanical and electric interface compatible with international widely used models.

lCompatible with other companies'XBT probes.

lSystem software can set the automatic launching time and place:System can set the automatic launching place (with longitude and latitude),time (time interval),distance interval,all these can be amended by operator.

lSystem can to work automatically with pre-set coordinate point, distance and time interval,all these can also be controlled by the operator,and system should have the function of recording the manned launching information.

lSystem can display and store the seawater temperature-depth profiling testing result,processing, temperature and depth curve automatically.

lSystem can connect the GDP navigation system and position the system's accurate coordinates.

lSystem has the Beidou (Iridium) navigation system interface and can execute remote data transmission.

lEach filling of system should launch 6 probes and contain automatic probe launching and wire cutting function.

lThe system should contain self-detecting circuit to carry out the fault diagnosis and the warning device that can monitor the disconnection,short circuit and open circuit and warn.

lThe system can be easily installed on various ships,it is convenient,small-sized,easily installed and light-weighted and the whole system can be operated by one or two people.
