Description:

Schottky Diodes are characterized with low forward voltage drop and less energy waste as heat, making them the most efficient choice for applications sensitive to efficiency. They are used in stand-alone ("off-grid") photovoltaic (PV) systems to prevent batteries from discharging through the solar panels at night, called "blocking diodes". R-6 and TO-263 packaged Schottky Diodes are widely used in solar junction boxes in the market.
