The milling machine was first created by American E. Whitney in 1818. In order to drill the spiral groove of the twist drill, American J.R. Brown invented the first universal milling machine in 1862, which is the prototype of the lifting table milling machine. Longmen milling machine appeared around 1884. The semi-automatic milling machine appeared in 1920s. The worktable can be used for automatic transfer of feed fast or fast feed.

After 1950, the milling machine developed rapidly in the control system, the application of digital control greatly improved the degree of automation of the milling machine. Especially after 70s, the digital control system and automatic tool change system of microprocessor were applied in milling machine, which expanded the machining range of milling machine, and improved the machining accuracy and efficiency.

The milling machine is a widely used tool, can be processed on the milling machine (horizontal plane, vertical plane) and groove (keyway, T groove, dovetail slot), gear parts (gears, spline shaft and sprocket), a spiral surface (screw spiral groove) and various surface. In addition, it can also be used for machining and cutting the surface and inner hole of revolving body. When the milling machine is working, the workpiece is mounted on the worktable or the indexing attachment, and the milling cutter rotates as the main movement. With the feeding motion of the worktable or milling head, the workpiece can obtain the required machining surface. Because of the multi blade interrupted cutting, the productivity of the milling machine is higher. In brief, the milling machine can be used for milling, drilling and boring machine tools.Turning is used to process the revolving parts, the parts are clamped on the spindle of the machine through three grasping chucks, and rotate at high speed. Then, the tool is cut according to the generatrix of the revolving body to cut out the appearance of the product. The lathe can also process the inner hole, thread, bite and so on, and the latter two are low speed machining.

A: If you don’t have any drawing , you can send us your sample, we will scan it and make 2D and 3D drawing first, then make sample for you.
