The difference between single-jaw and two-jaw metal cutting band saw:

1. Single-jaw metal cutting band saw

Mainly used for cutting long material. For example if you have a 6m long material, need to be cut into 1m or much longer, it will be more suitable and cheaper to use a single-jaw metal cutting band saw.

Not suitable for less than 10cm material.

2. Two-jaw metal cutting band saw

Mainly used for cutting short material. For example if you have a 6m long material, need to be cut into 1or 2cm, it will be more suitable to use a two-jaw metal cutting band saw.

No limit to cut any length material.
