Lost Wax Casting Process

Lost wax investment casting is a process that uses molds to form liquid metals. During this process, liquid metals are shaped into high quality products that are made of many different types of metals. Because lost wax casting often results in rough finishes, additional procedures may be needed to remove burrs from the end products. The process is generally used for small castings, but has produced complete aircraft door frames, steel castings of up to 300 kg and aluminium castings of up to 30 kg. It is generally more expensive per unit than die casting or sand casting but with lower equipment cost. It can produce complicated shapes that would be difficult or impossible with die casting, yet like that process, it requires little surface finishing and only minor machining.

Introduction:

Our factory has 5 large sand casting production line ,30 small sand casting foundry work platform, 2 sand casting workshop, the biggest can complete 100 kg/pc casting; A casting workshop equipped with 6 sets of gravity casting equipment. A die casting workshop equipped with 180 t - 500 t die-casting machine and a machining workshop equipped with three axis machining center, three sets of CNC lathe, CNC milling machine two units, large drilling machine with two; we have 1 unit 150kg intermediate frequency electric stove,2 units 3T intermediate frequency electric stove,1 unit high frequency stove, etc.

At the same time we also have three coordinates, one laboratory which can be effective detection of the product size; A surface treatment workshop equipped with 30 polishing platform, shot blasting machine 2 sets, including one for big shot blasting machine; A plastic spraying workshop, equipped with large plastic spraying equipment, all plant at the same time have their own independent heat treatment equipment, pressure test equipment and independent composite sand cores manufacturing plant. also has our own casting mould with low cost,high efficiency production.if it is the complicated one, we'll let our cooperated professional mould factory to do. we can finish 5 tons production work every day.

 

Machining Shop:

With our powerful precision CNC machining equipments such as lathes, milling machines and drilling press, we can easily operate Turning, Drilling and Milling. Furthermore, we are able to run other operations like cutting, grinding, bending, shaping, planning and sawing. 


Quality and testing ability:

GX has perfect casting auxiliary material inspection instrument and equipment, and set up the fast analyzer before furnace. Use spectrum analyzer, chemistry analyzer, metallographic analysis ,mechanical properties (tensile, impact and hardness) analysis of equipment and instruments for materials with the chemical composition of ontology sampling testing, microstructure examination and mechanical property test, to ensure adequate materials to meet the requirements of the use conditions. 

 

Quality Control:

Overall product quality inspections is from raw materials incoming inspection, semi-finished products inspection, specimen testing, and products testing. We strictly follow the procedures of ISO 9001, IQC, IPQC & FQC. SYI has independent inspectors and QC engineers to check & record in accordance with the procedure and submited for approval/audit.
