C9 Petroleum Hydrocarbon Resin

Character:

C9 hydrocarbon resin is thermoplastic resin which obtained from polymerizing unsaturated aromatic petroleum feedstock. C9 resin is clear yellowish resin, soluble in most industrial solvents, and particularly in aromatic and aliphatic ones. Wide compatibility with different polymers and resins makes C9 petroleum resin excellent multi-purpose products. The major applications areas are paints and varnishes, printing inks, adhesives, rubber and elastomer, etc. Characterized by lighter color, less odor as well as wider compatibility & solubility, C9 resin is more suitable for hot melt adhesives, bookbinding, shoes adhesive and solvent adhesives, etc.

C9 hydrocarbon resin with color 9#-14# has good compatibility with long oil alkyd resin and C5 aliphatic resin. It gives short drying time and perfect gloss in paint. This grade of hydrocarbon resin could be used in long oil alkyd resin based paints and hot melt adhesives.

Transportation & Storage: It can be transported by truck, train, and ship etc... Pelletized forms of resin may block or lump in hot weather climate or if stored near heat sources, but there is no influence on useful. Recommended temperature no exceeding 35?. Keep aeration and dryness, prevent direct sunshine. Period storage is one-year.
